OGS uses methods based on the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) model. PDSA is a four-stage problem-solving model used for improving a process or carrying out change. It begins with the recognition that all clinicians working in a post-acute/long-term care environment can benefit from an initial assessment process to identify areas of concern where change is needed. Once the areas of primary need are identified, proven strategies that result in positive change can be identified and acted upon.
OGS does ask all clients to answer a basic personality profile questionnaire to customize the coaching program to each client.

FAQ's
- Will this process always work? YES. If the clinician is willing and able to be honest in the ongoing assessment process.
- Will the process always provide the answer that is desired in the current workplace? NO. There are any number of "bad fit" scenarios that may be beyond the PA/LTC clinician's ability to "fix" or at least improve. Part of the clinician-coach relationship is assessing specific circumstances to determine if they are "tolerable" or "intolerable" and what's next if the decision is they are intolerable.
- Is there a start and stop to the coach-physician relationship? IT DEPENDS. If the PA/LTC professional is looking for a problem-focused relationship, OGS can deal with specific "facts and circumstances" with a short term perspective. The preferred model, however, is an ongoing relationship which allows the clinician and coach a higher probability of optimizing the clinician's goals for personal satisfaction and financial success.
- Is this a "touchy-feely" type service? NO. If you are looking for a Coach that only tells you to drink green tea, do yoga and walk barefoot in the grass, this is the wrong site for you. OGS is a division of Healthcare Practice Solutions, LLC whose mission is to deliver proven and measurable business solutions to the delivery of professional medical services. If you are the owner of a practice, or want to be, practical solutions including accounting and tax services, retirement plan design and administration, payroll and HR management, etc. can be included at a very granular level of the OGS discussion. To be frank, the OGS Senior Clinician Coach has been described as direct and somewhat of a curmudgeon! That being said, OGS has a strategic relationship with a clinical psychologist whose practice is devoted to medical professionals if the clinician feels they need support beyond relationship with the OGS coach.
